My Silent Ally

I never walk a solitary path,
For Time is the companion at my side.
It mends the spirit, nurtures life,
And casts a glow where new ideas reside.

It turns the page on finished tales,
Unmasking truths once held in shade;
A steady force that never fails,
In rhythm that will never fade.

Unbiased in its silent flow,
Unchanged through every passing age,
Its patterns are the only law,
Across every season, every stage.

Through blinding light or deepest dark,
The steady pulse remains the same;
A rhythmic, driving, constant spark,
Beyond the reach of praise or blame.

I may sprint, or stroll, or stand quite still,
Finding peace within the pause,
Yet Time moves on with quiet will,
Bound by its own timeless laws.

It is the ally in my race,
The rooting voice I’ve come to hear,
Offering a patient grace,
And whispering, “I am always here.”
